Lion and the War - Feb. 3rd, 2010

So I am in the middle of a very primitive war. Primitive in a way were people are using clubs, arrows, and rocks to fight. Joseph is with me, a tribe of people see us and rush us into a cave. It's chaotic outside, but as soon as they get me in the cave the sounds of war seem to muffle. A person that seems to be in charge greets me eagerly. He starts telling me about how the LION, is sick and dieing. They need him to win the war, but they appreciate him so much, they don't want him to die winning there battles. They are hoping I can either heal him, or convince the lion to leave the war, and enjoy the remaining part of his life.
We get escorted into this large cave room, there is an opening in the rock face, where a HUGE arrow sticks out of the cave and is out in the open. The arrow is knocked into an equally large bow staff. I watch as a Large lion, is hooked to the bow strings and starts to pull the string, and the arrow back. He is physically straining, to pull the arrow back, once the tension in the bow is sufficient he lets the arrow go. We watch as the arrow flys, and explodes over the enemies, launching many different arrows, and killing a good amount of people.

After which the Giant Lion is exhausted he has many servants who feed him, give him drink and make him comfortable. We are shown to the Lion. Joseph and I talk with him. He says he loves these people, and wants to help. We ask about his strength, he says he knows he is dieing and will not be able to help for long. We let him know the people want him to live his days with out stress and die in peace. He wants to die fighting, plus, he knows that with out his help the people will surly loose the battle. With his help they may have a chance. He wants Joseph and I to try and heal him. If not cure him, but to at least give him strength to live long enough to help the people with there battle. I"m worried that we can't help, I'm touched of the love that the people of for the Lion and the sense of duty that the Lion has for the people. I want to help... I wake up.

The End.

  1. The Lion in my dream reminded me of Aslan, from the book, "Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe" The tribe of people I was helping, resembled the people of Avatar with out being blue.
